Rental Terms

Renter/driver’s Age
Minimum age for all rentals is 23 years old. For ages 19-22 there is an additional insurance premium depending on the vehicle. Driver’s license must be issued one year before pick up date.

Driving License
The driving license must be issued one year before the car pickup date. National Driving Licenses issued in the EU, & UK are accepted. Citizens of all other countries are required to have a valid international Driver’s License along with their regular Drivers’ License. The Driver is required to display the Driving License before the pickup of the vehicle. In case the driving license is valid for less than a year, an additional premium is required depending on the vehicle.

Driver’s License for ATV or Buggy
Car License, International Category B.

Driver’s License for Scooter 125cc
Motorcycle License, International Category A or A1 or A2. (not B)

Driver’s License for Scooter 400cc
Motorcycle License, International Category A or A2. (not B)

Traffic fines or other administrative sanctions:
The renter must pay traffic fines, or any administrative sanctions may result from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law.
If the police or other authority removes the registration plates during the rental, the renter must compensate our company immediately. The compensation amount will be calculated by multiplying the total number of days that the vehicle will be without registration plates with the per-day rental price from the current season.

Motorcycles, ATVs and our Buggies can carry a maximum of two passengers. In case that more than 2 passengers are confirmed to be using the vehicle at the same time, the vehicle will be taken away and no refund will be given.
Clients are prohibited from driving the vehicle in sand, anywhere with no roads or extremely difficult roads in general.

Fuel Policy
The renter has to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as delivered. If the renter returns the vehicle with less fuel level than was delivered, the renter will be charged the fuel difference. Minimum difference charge is 20 euros. There is no refund if the renter returns the vehicle with more fuel level than was delivered. The renter has to pay for the fuel that will be used during the rental period.

Additional driver
Additional driver/drivers are free of charge. For all additional drivers applies the same policy that applies for the main driver regarding age, driving license etc

Kilometers
Prices include free kilometers, within the island. The vehicle is forbidden to go off the island. Otherwise the renter will be charged 100 €, the costs to be returned and the rental days that the vehicle will be left out until its return.

Deliveries – Pick-up outside stations
The charge for deliveries and receipts outside stations varies depending on the point and time.

Return of the vehicle:
The return of the vehicle is made at the agreed date, time and location. For any changes at the already scheduled drop-off, the renter has to inform us at least one day before. The vehicle and the keys can only be returned to our staff.

Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you have to send a cancellation notice email and receive an answer that we received your cancellation notice.
There is no cancellation fee if we receive the cancellation notice up to 7 days before the due pick-up date and time.
If we receive the cancellation notice from 3 days to 7 days prior to the due pick-up date and time, then the cancellation fee equals 50% of the booking amount.
If we receive the cancellation notice up to 3 days prior to the due pick-up date and time, then the total booking amount will be charged.

No-Show Policy
For deliveries outside our office, our team will be able to wait only 10-12 minutes at the agreed spot. If the renter doesn’t show up on time from the agreed rental start time without any written update our team will have to leave and the renter will have to collect the vehicle from our office. If the renter fails to collect the vehicle within 2 hours of the agreed rental start date and time without any written update, the reservation may be automatically canceled, and the total booking amount will be charged.

After hours delivery – collection:
For delivery or collection between 22:00 until 07:59 there is an extra charge of 30€.

FUEL SERVICE CHARGE: €15.

BATTERY RECHARGE SERVICE FEE: €10.

INSURANCE

Third Party Insurance
Included in the rental price of all vehicles. The renter’s liability covered for material damages, for death and for bodily injuries to third parties.

C.D.W. – (Collision Damage Waiver) with excess amount:
Not included in the rental price. Provided at an additional cost. With this insurance the renter’s liability for damage to the rental vehicle may be limited, provided only if the Highway Code is not violated, to a minimum charge:

• • 350€ for all scooters up to 150cc, by paying extra 5 € per day
  • 800€ for all scooters 300cc and up, by paying extra 8€ per day
  • 1200€ for quads – atvs 450cc,520cc and 600cc by paying extra 10€ per day
  • 5000€ for Buggy 800cc & 1000cc by paying extra 20€ per day

For all the vehicles CDW can be provided upon agreement.

Required condition is that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated. No insurance covers tires damages, damages underneath or inside the vehicle, damages in the interior (seats) of the vehicle as well as loss/theft of personal items, loss of the keys or engine failure caused by wrong fuel.

Guarantees
Credit card guarantee is required for renting a Car, ATV, Moto or Buggy.

Road Accident
In case of a road accident, you have to inform our company immediately and also the police. The police will record the accident, and you have to get a copy of the police report. Without a police report, the renter takes full responsibility.
In case of renter liability there is a charge for:

• • Accident file management (150 €)
  • Vehicle damage repair
  • The days when the vehicle cannot be rented due to its repair.

Also in case the renter does not know where the vehicle is or has run out of gas and we take over to solve the problem, the charge is € 100 each.

FINE FILE FEE (FAF): The driver is charged €30+ TAX, in case of a fine resulting from a violation of the Code of Conduct. Thisamountisnon-refundable.

 

Credit card purchases.

All payments made using a card are processed through the electronic payment platform “Nexi e-Commerce” and uses TLS 1.2 encryption with a 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of encoding information until it reaches its intended recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
